Upon Further Reflection...

That probably wasn't a true Sonora Wind after all.

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that the wind was coming more out of the west, whereas the Sonora Winds I have known and been aggravated by come out of the southwest.

And this morning, at 2 AM, we were awakened by high winds and a spattering of drizzle -- sure signs of thunderstorm activity. The Sonora Winds of my experience have never been associated with rain.

So evidently something else is going on.

They're predicting windy afternoons every day this week, so maybe the winds will revert to a more classic "Sonora" pattern. We'll see...
