Monsoon

1974.

Archetypal monsoon weather: heavy clouds, spattering rain, no sun for a week, cool breezes.

But when the sun comes back out: wheh!

This "lake" is actually a large puddle on the top of Broad Canyon Dam. I lay down on the ground and held the camera a couple of inches above the water to get the right angle to create the illusion I was looking for. This view looks up Broad Canyon to the Sierra de las Uvas in the far distance.
