So, what motivated you, over the years, to take all these pictures?

Documenting my world? Creatively documenting my world in a way unique to me? An artform I considered myself pretty good at?

hmmm... I find your photos an interesting documentary. Sort of a look back into the Solberg world of times before... Seeing the world in this moment as reality, while it is real, is not the only "real" that's ever been. I liken life/reality to a film reel spinning by. Sometimes, I catch myself focusing on one frame of the film - past present or future and being lulled into thinking that the one or two frames I'm focused on tells the story... Of course it's not so. It's only one or two frames.

Being invited to witness the "frames", via your photographs, of the times in space that you've witnessed and participated in is great fun and rich with insight into the "Solberg Realit". It's also a good way of stimulating a look at my own times and spaces...

Kinda' the "Duh, hmmm... what was I doing in 1979?" thought process...

Thanks for your documentation.. Great photos and great thought provokers.

Also,

It's a great way to see the world of the of Solbergs in a time when the world that held them, those different Solbergs, was so different a place...
